Real estate recovery continues in US
A recent report from USA real estate firm Clear Capital seems to confirm the continued recovery of the residential property market. For the first time in more than six years quarterly home prices across the country remained in positive territory over the winter months and look set to increase during the next eight months.
Results of the most recent Home Data Index shows that residential real estate prices nationwide grew by 0.9 per cent during the first three months of this year and predict a further growth of around 1.7 per cent during the remainder of the year.
Experts agree that the real estate recovery has entered a new phase in recent months and believe it is more likely that recovery will be sustainable in the long term. Confidence is returning to both consumers and lenders alike and while caution remains in place for some American mortgage companies experts believe the level of residential sales will continue to flourish in the months ahead.
