Dubai real estate prices improving
International investors keen to get back in the game are confident that buying property in Dubai is the way ahead for fantastic returns. A recently published report from Jones LaSalle shows a rise of almost twenty per cent in residential sales prices of property in Dubai during the early part of the year. Stock inventory levels also increased during this period as investor confidence also improved. Recovery appears to be evident across all sectors of the real estate market but the greatest results are occurring in good quality projects in prime locations whereas in less popular locations inferior quality projects are losing favour with investors and high vacancy rates are going hand-in-hand with lower rental values. Results from the REIDIN general residential sale index show an overall increase of 18 per cent in the price of apartments over the first quarter and villa prices have increased by 17 per cent during the same period.
